Family guide: your player's BagTag award
No app, no child account, and no points balance. The physical tag's shared QR opens the mobile flow; the private code from the coach proves which award slot the family may reserve.
Claim in four steps

Scan
Use the phone camera on the QR printed on the physical tag. Check the league and program name before entering anything.

Match & code
Choose the player's team and actual game, then enter the private handoff code the coach gave with the award.

Verify
An adult parent or guardian enters contact details and opens the one-time email before the reservation expires.

Choose later
The verified award can be opened from email or Find my reward, then used once at one participating location.
Step-by-step family progression

Confirm the QR destination
A valid BagTag link shows the league, program, and an HTTPS BagTag address. Close unexpected or unrelated pages.

Select the team
Use the team name the league scheduled. If it is missing, contact the league rather than choosing a different team.

Select the game
Choose the real opponent and date. Canceled, out-of-window, full, or unconfigured games may not appear.

Enter the coach handoff code
Use the current code given with this award. The batch QR is shared and cannot reserve a slot without the matching private code.

Enter minimum family details
Use the player's name and the adult's name and email. The email verifies ownership and retrieves the reward.

Make the adult attestation
Confirm that you are an adult parent or legal guardian, the information is truthful, and you are claiming the actual award.

Open the verification email
Use only the newest BagTag message. If it expires, restart from the tag; do not forward the verification link.

Review the reward options
Compare the offer, participating location, purchase requirement, restrictions, and expiration before choosing.

Redeem in person
Open the live confirmation at the counter. Partner staff may enter a private location PIN and will punch the physical tag after success.

Share only if you want
A story, display name, or photo is optional. Each use has a separate choice and league moderation does not guarantee publication. Production video submission is currently disabled.

Use your privacy controls
Ask to correct information, withdraw media, or delete eligible personal information through the verified privacy-request flow.
Common family problems
The slot is unavailable
Another claim may be verified or temporarily reserved for that award slot. Check the game details and ask the league if you believe it is wrong.
The coach code does not work
Check each character and the selected team and game. If a prior reservation was released, the old code is retired; ask the coach or league for the current code.
The email did not arrive
Check spam and the spelling, wait a few minutes, then request a new link. Only the newest link may work.
The verification link expired
Return to the tag QR and start again. Expiration protects an unfinished reservation from blocking the award forever.
I lost the email
Use Find my reward from the league site or the tag flow and enter the same verified parent email.
The reward says redeemed
Do not try another partner. Contact the league with the time and location shown so an admin can review the audit trail.
